Free and Pro

You can shoot with VCam Camera for free, and Pro unlocks every style, higher resolutions, and more. You can try most Pro features before you buy.

  • Adding avatars (VRM, images, and VRoid Hub, with no limit on how many)
  • The “Essentials” styles
  • Photos (“Standard” resolution), videos (30 fps, with no limit on recording time), and GIFs
  • Adding text, trimming, and muting in Editing After You Shoot, plus GIF “Quality” and “Loop”
  • The “Camera”, “Color”, and “Photo/Video” backgrounds with “Blur”, and depth of field
  • Some poses, motions, and accessories
  • Studio (placing one avatar and the basic tools)

The free version always uses the “Icon + App Name” watermark. With Pro, you can also choose “Off” or “Signature”.

Tap a Pro style in the style list before shooting, and the preview shows that style, covered with a watermark. You can keep the list open and try one style after another.

While you’re trying one, “Previewing [style name]” appears between the image and the shutter:

  • Tap “Use with Pro”, or tap the style you’re trying again, to open the purchase screen
  • Tap × (“Stop Previewing”) to go back to the style you had before
  • Tapping the shutter opens the purchase screen instead of taking a shot

After you buy, you keep using the style you were trying. You can try the Pro tools in Studio the same way while you use them.

While recording and on the screen after you shoot, a sample image appears instead of the live preview. The “Transparent” background and poses also show a sample when you tap them, and you can go to the purchase screen from there.

Open the purchase screen from the Pro banner (“Upgrade to Pro”) at the top of Settings. You can choose “Yearly”, “Monthly”, or “One-time purchase”. Check the prices on the purchase screen.

If Pro goes missing, for example after you switch devices, tap “Restore Purchase” on the purchase screen.

The yearly plan comes with a free trial. If you haven’t used the trial with your Apple Account yet, the buttons on the purchase screen and while you’re trying a feature read “Try Free for [number] Days”. Otherwise, the trial isn’t offered. The purchase screen also shows the price after the trial ends. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.

If you’ve had Pro before, the button reads “Resume Pro”.

If you cancel or Pro expires, anything only Pro can choose (resolution, 60 fps, watermark, “Transparent”, styles, poses, accessories, and Studio tools) goes back to the free settings. Poses and accessories you imported and My Styles you made aren’t deleted.
